The holiday accommodation at Hill House, situated within picturesque Strathglass, occupies an elevated position overlooking farmland and the village of Cannich. We are a traditional Scottish family having long established links with the local area.
On our doorstep is Glen Affric - the most beautiful Glen in Scotland and home to one of the few remnants of the ancient Caledonian Pine Forest. Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle are only a short drive from our self-catering accommodation. The Affric Kintail Way passes a few hundred yards from the accommodation.
Hill House at Kerrow is a quiet, peaceful location set in the old Clan Chisholm lands close to the village of Cannich where the facilities include a pub, a cafe and the village store/Post Office. There is excellent walking in the local area and the rivers in Strathglass are renowned for their excellent trout and salmon fishing.
A short distance from your holiday accommodation in Cannich is Glen Affric, a National Nature Reserve giving the visitor the opportunity to view the rich tapestry that the wild and remote parts of Scotland has to offer. Glen Strathfarrar provides outstanding hillwalking as well as being recognised for its amazing beauty.
The nearby villages of Beauly and Drumnadrochit both offer excellent facilities for the visitor while a 45 minute drive will take you to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. Hill House is also ideally suited as a base for touring further afield. Whatever your interests we are sure that you will enjoy your stay with us.
